Four Maumee senior football players were selected to the Division III All-Ohio team, announced on Wednesday afternoon.
Cody Wulf was named third team All-Ohio running back, and Blake Wagener was third team kicker.
Carson Graetz (wide receiver) and Pierce Simpson (defensive lineman) were selected to the honorable mention list.
The Panthers went 8-3 last season, their best record in 15 years. They also hosted a home playoff game for the first time in that time span.
Wulf rushed for 1,175 yards and 18 touchdowns, averaging more than five yards per carry. He also had 229 receiving yards and another two scores.
Graetz had 714 receiving yards and eight TDs, also rushing for 102 yards and two scores.
Wagener went 4-for-4 on field goals and 54-for-56 on extra points. Of his 70 kickoffs this season, 28 went for touchbacks.
The All-Ohio teams are based on nominations from the seven districts of the Ohio Prep Sports Media Association, which vote on the all-district teams from regular-season accomplishments. IMA editor Jeremy Schneider is a member of the OPSMA but did not vote for all-district or all-state.
